DOROTHY F. GREEN
Dotty Green is board certified as a specialist in
labor and employment law by the Florida Bar and has practiced labor
and employment law
representing employers since 1984. Her practice includes representation
of employers before the National Labor Relations Board and the State
of Florida Public Employees Relations Commission, as well as the
Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division. She represents employers
in labor arbitration and collective bargaining.
Dotty also defends employers in federal and state courts in civil
rights litigation involving race, sex, national origin discrimination,
sexual harassment, disability and age discrimination. In addition,
she advises employers on compliance with the Equal Pay Act, the Family
Medical Leave Act, COBRA and the Fair Labor Standards Act as well
as other federal and state statutes which relate to labor and employment
issues.
She is a frequent speaker and lecturer on labor and employment
law topics. Dotty is listed in The Best Lawyers in America. She
is a graduate of Leadership Orlando and Leadership Winter Park
and is active in local civic activities in the Orlando area. Dotty
is also a member of the Federal Bar Association, Society for Human
Resource Management, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers
and the Orange County Bar Association.
